The return of Ruaile Buaile to the Castleblayney Music Festival is a highly anticipated event.

Formed in 2011, Ruaile Buaile, a dynamic 5-piece twisted-trad band from Ireland's midlands, has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of traditional Irish music and modern flair. The band's lineup includes original members Niall Kelly (Vocals and Guitar), Jack Godley (Percussion), and Shane Lynam (Vocals and Bass), alongside newer additions Cathal Guinan (Fiddle) in 2021 and Seán Bourke (Banjo) in 2023. Known for their energetic performances, Ruaile Buaile excels in delivering a fusion of upbeat old Irish favourites, ground-thumping trad rhythms, and inventive takes on contemporary classics, making their mark both in Ireland and internationally.

Ennis Brothers

The return of The Ennis Brothers to the Castleblayney Music Festival is a highly anticipated event.

The Ennis Brothers are a multi-award winning Country & Irish music duo built around the melodic harmonies of twin brothers Matthew and Owen Ennis. They grew up listening to the timeless country sound of their grandparents favourite artist, The Everly Brothers. It was this early experience with country music which would go on to help shape Matt and Owens sound. They both started writing songs and learning guitar in their teens. Aged 15, they  performed on television on a show called 'Class Act' on RTE singing one of their favourite Everly Brothers songs 'Bye Bye Love'.  

All Folk'd Up

All Folk'd Up, a band renowned for their energetic fusion of traditional and modern folk sounds, is set to return for their third year to the Castleblayney Music Festival.

Their performances, known for their energy and musicality, have made them a favourite at the festival. Their return signifies a continued tradition of high-quality music and entertainment, showcasing their unique blend of folk influences that resonates with audiences of all ages.

The Conquerors, have been entertaining audiences in Ireland for many years and are a highly sought after band for weddings & corporate events. The Conquerors have made many appearances on The Late Late Show on RTE, TG4 and Sky Spotlight TV as they are the regular go-to band for many top artists.
