Back by overwhelming popular demand, The Whistlin’ Donkeys return to Castleblayney Music Festival for an incredible fourth consecutive year! This energetic six-piece folk-rock band from Co. Tyrone is known for their electrifying live shows, mixing traditional Irish sounds with powerful rock rhythms.

Over the past year, the band has continued to gain momentum, headlining major festivals across Ireland and beyond. We’re thrilled to welcome them back as Friday night’s headline act—they never fail to deliver a high-energy, crowd-pleasing performance!

We are thrilled to welcome The High Kings as our Saturday night headliners at the Castleblayney Music Festival! Renowned for their dynamic blend of traditional Irish music and modern flair, The High Kings have captivated audiences around the globe.
Over the years, they’ve achieved international acclaim, performing at major events and venues—from Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight Festival (where they headlined in 2015), to Times Square and Trafalgar Square on St. Patrick’s Day. Their notable performances also include appearances for world leaders.

Expect a set full of fan favourites including "Star of the County Down" and their rousing version of "The Rocky Road to Dublin". It's set to be a spectacular night of music under the Big Top Blayney Tent.

When the curtain closes on The High Kings, the party continues with our Saturday night DJ set! Join us as we dance through the decades—from the anthems of the ‘80s and ‘90s to today’s biggest chart-toppers. Sunday, August 3rd - Gates Open at 4.00 pm

Love to dance but not a fan of the late nights? We’ve got just the thing! The Over 30s Club is taking over the Bank Holiday Sunday early evening slot with feel-good tunes, a lively atmosphere, and a dancefloor designed for those who’ve still got it—but prefer to be home before midnight.

This fast-rising act is making waves across the country, with festival slots lined up nationwide in 2025. We’re delighted to bring them to Castleblayney, where they'll kick off Sunday’s celebration with iconic floor-fillers from “Gimme Gimme” to “Mr. Brightside.” Trust us—this is the party starter you won’t want to miss!

🥁 Rhythm & Sticks

From the heart of Longford and Cavan, Rhythm & Sticks bring an explosive mix of passion, rhythm, and Irish soul to the stage. This five-piece group is known for its high-energy performances and captivating mix of heartfelt ballads and classic Irish favourites.

With hits like “Travelling Soldier” and “Grace,” their music invites festival-goers on a rich and emotional journey through Ireland’s musical heritage. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the Big Top Blayney Tent for what’s sure to be an unforgettable set!

Closing the festival in style, Johnny Brady brings his powerhouse vocals and signature energy to the Castleblayney Music Festival stage. One of the most recognised voices in modern Irish country music, Johnny continues to push boundaries with his fresh sound and vibrant performances.
