Where is the festival located? The Castleblayney Music Festival takes place at Castleblayney Faughs GAA Club, St Mary’s Park, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, A75 A034.

When is it on? The festival runs over the August Bank Holiday weekend 2025: Thursday, July 31st – Sunday, August 3rd.

What time do the gates open?

• Thursday: 7.30 PM

• Friday & Saturday: 7.30 PM

• Sunday: 4:oo PM

Will I have to queue? Queuing is usually minimal! If a queue does form, we’ll open additional turnstiles to keep things moving quickly and safely.

Is there accessible access? Absolutely. We provide designated wheelchair and disability access to ensure everyone can enjoy the festival comfortably.

Is there parking available?

• Limited parking is available at the grounds.

• Approx. 20 disability parking spaces are available on-site.

• General parking is located in town car parks, local school grounds, and along the main road near the venue.

• The furthest car park is just a 5-minute walk from the site.

Can I bring my own food or drinks? Outside food and drink are not permitted, unless required for medical reasons. But don’t worry—we’ve got a great selection of food and drink vendors inside to keep you fuelled all weekend!

Age restrictions? Festival-goers under 18 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Children under 16 can get tickets at the gate for just €10.

Are pets allowed? We love animals—but for everyone’s safety, pets are not permitted at the festival.

How long does each act play? Each act has their own unique set time! You’ll find details in our event schedule to help plan your day.

Is it cash only or are cards accepted? We accept both card and cash payments throughout the venue.

Are there ATM or bank facilities on site? There are no ATM facilities on site, but we do offer cashback at selected points. We recommend bringing cash in advance if you'd prefer that option.

Is there security on-site? Yes, your safety is our priority! We’ll have event security at all entrances, marshals throughout the grounds to assist you, and An Garda Síochána will also be present for added peace of mind.

What are the toilet facilities like?

• 2 accessible toilets in designated areas

• 6 blocks of ladies’ toilets

• 3 blocks of gents ’toilets We’ve got you covered!

Is the event seated or standing? Our new Big Top Blayney Tent features a mix of seated and standing areas—and best of all, it’s fully covered, so rain or shine, the show goes on in comfort!

Is there a full bar and shop on-site? Yes!

• Full bar

• BBQ serving tasty burgers and hotdogs

• Shop with sandwiches, tea, coffee, soft drinks, crisps, sweets, and more!

Are taxis or buses available? Taxis and buses are limited, so we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Is accommodation available nearby? Yes! Castleblayney has local B&Bs, and you can find options at www.castleblayney.ie. Nearby towns like Carrickmacross and Monaghan Town also offer great accommodation.

Can I camp overnight at the venue? This is not a camping festival, but if you have a campervan, parking is available at the nearby Lough Muckno estate.

How far is the walk to town? Very close—just 700 metres to Castleblayney town centre!

Are there shops, bars, and restaurants near the venue? Yes! Just 100 metres from the venue you'll find a Londis shop, petrol station, restaurant, and a bank link facility.

What happens if the event doesn’t go ahead? If the event is postponed, your ticket will be valid for the new rescheduled date. If that doesn’t work for you, we’ll offer a refund minus booking fees. Please note: No refunds will be issued within 21 days of the event, starting from July 31st, 2025.

Is there a cloakroom? Yes! You can store items for €2 per item.

Is there a lost and found? Yes—our Lost & Found is located at the Cloakroom.

What items are prohibited? Please do not bring:

• Alcohol not purchased inside the venue

• Illegal substances

• Sharp or dangerous objects
